Effective Date: July 09, 2026Last Updated: July 09, 2026This page explains how you can delete your Groxx account and what happens to your personal information after a deletion request is submitted.
For more information about how Groxx collects, uses, stores, and discloses personal information, please review the Groxx Privacy Policy.

2. How to Delete Your Groxx Account
You can initiate permanent account deletion directly from the Groxx mobile application.
The current deletion path may be available through:
Groxx → Profile → Data Control → Delete AccountThe exact names and position of these controls may change as the application interface develops, but the account-deletion option will remain available within the application.
You may be asked to:
- confirm that you want to delete the account;
- review the consequences of deletion;
- verify your identity or current session;
- reauthenticate through Apple, Google, or email;
- complete an additional confirmation step to prevent accidental or unauthorized deletion.
After final confirmation, Groxx will begin processing the deletion request.
3. Requesting Deletion by Email
You may also request assistance by emailing:
[email protected]Use the subject line:
Account Deletion RequestTo help us locate and protect the correct account, include the email address associated with your Groxx account.
Do not send passwords, one-time login codes, payment-card information, government identification documents, or other highly sensitive information by email unless we specifically request an appropriate verification method.
For security reasons, we may require you to verify ownership of the account before completing an email-based request.
Whenever possible, deleting the account directly from within the Groxx application is the fastest and safest method.
4. What Account Deletion Means
Account deletion is permanent.
Once completed, you may lose access to:
- your Groxx account;
- Boss Mode answers;
- your selected priority mode;
- your business profile;
- This Week recommendations;
- Red Flag risk signals;
- expanded Play content;
- card-level AI conversations;
- AI Crew conversations;
- conversation history;
- uploaded documents, images, spreadsheets, and other files;
- saved preferences;
- account-specific product history;
- other content associated with the account.
After deletion has been completed, Groxx may be unable to recover your account or restore deleted content.
To use Groxx again, you may need to create a new account and complete Boss Mode again.
5. Subscription Cancellation Is Separate
Deleting your Groxx account does
not necessarily cancel an active Apple App Store subscription.
Your subscription is managed by Apple through your Apple Account.
To prevent future renewal charges, cancel the subscription separately before or after requesting account deletion.
Depending on your device and the current Apple interface, you can generally manage the subscription through:
Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions → GroxxDeleting the Groxx application from your device also does not cancel an active subscription.
Groxx cannot ordinarily cancel an Apple-managed subscription on your behalf.
If you delete your Groxx account without canceling the subscription, Apple may continue to renew and charge the subscription until it is separately canceled through Apple.
6. What We Delete
Following a valid deletion request, Groxx ordinarily deletes or de-identifies personal information associated with the account from active production systems.
This may include:
Account and authentication information
- name;
- email address;
- Groxx account identifiers;
- account profile;
- login and session records, subject to limited security exceptions;
- authentication associations;
- communication preferences.
Boss Mode and business information
- structured onboarding answers;
- open-ended Boss Mode answers;
- company and business information;
- goals;
- selected priority mode;
- business profile;
- operational, marketing, resource, strategic, and risk information;
- other business context provided through the Services.
This Week and Red Flag information
- This Week recommendations;
- recommendation-card status;
- Red Flag risk signals;
- suggested risk responses;
- interactions with This Week and Red Flag cards;
- related account-specific personalization information.
Play and card-level AI information
- expanded content generated after selecting Play;
- questions submitted inside recommendation or risk cards;
- card-level AI responses;
- card-level conversation history.
AI Crew information
- AI Crew prompts;
- AI-generated responses;
- conversation history;
- assistant-selection information;
- relevant account-specific AI context.
Uploaded content
- uploaded documents;
- images;
- spreadsheets;
- presentations;
- other uploaded files;
- extracted file content;
- file names and related metadata.
Device and product information
Where technically associated with your account and not required for an applicable exception, we may delete or de-identify:
- device associations;
- push notification tokens;
- saved application preferences;
- account-linked usage history;
- other account-specific product data.
7. Deletion From Active Systems
We ordinarily complete deletion or de-identification from active production systems within
30 days after:
- receiving the request;
- completing any necessary identity verification;
- confirming that the request is valid.
In many cases, access to the account may be disabled or terminated sooner.
The 30-day period is a maximum operational target rather than a promise that every system will retain the data for the full period.
Some information may be removed immediately, while other information may require processing across multiple systems and service providers.
Under GDPR, qualifying personal data must be erased without undue delay when the right to erasure applies, although the right is subject to defined exceptions.
8. Sign in With Apple
If you created or accessed your Groxx account using Sign in with Apple, Groxx will take steps to revoke the relevant Sign in with Apple authorization or token where required and technically applicable.
Revoking the token disconnects the relevant Sign in with Apple authorization from the deleted Groxx account.
Deleting your Groxx account does not delete your Apple Account.
It also does not automatically cancel an Apple App Store subscription.
Apple requires apps using Sign in with Apple to revoke user tokens when processing account deletion.
9. Google Sign-In
If you used Google Sign-In, deleting your Groxx account removes the Groxx account and associated Groxx data as described on this page.
Deleting your Groxx account does not delete your Google Account.
Where technically applicable, Groxx may revoke or remove the relevant Groxx authentication session or authorization.
You may separately manage third-party access through your Google Account settings.
10. Passwordless Email Authentication
If you used passwordless email authentication, deletion removes the Groxx account associated with that email address, subject to the exceptions described below.
Deleting your Groxx account does not delete or otherwise affect your email account.
Previously issued one-time login codes or links will no longer provide access to a deleted Groxx account.
11. Supabase and Production Infrastructure
Groxx uses Supabase for services that may include:
- account authentication;
- database hosting;
- file storage;
- backend functions;
- logs;
- related application infrastructure.
Our primary Supabase project is hosted in the United States in the AWS US West region located in Oregon, identified as us-west-2.
When your account is deleted, Groxx initiates removal or de-identification of applicable account data maintained through the active Supabase environment.
Deletion may involve multiple database records, storage objects, authentication records, and related application data.
12. Backups
Residual copies of deleted information may remain temporarily in encrypted or access-restricted backups until those backups are overwritten through the normal backup-rotation process.
Backup copies are not used for ordinary product operation, personalization, marketing, or analytics.
They may be accessed or restored only where reasonably necessary for purposes such as:
- disaster recovery;
- security investigation;
- system integrity;
- legal compliance.
Where deleted data is restored as part of a disaster-recovery event, Groxx will take reasonable steps to reapply valid deletion requests.
Residual backup copies are ordinarily removed through normal rotation after deletion from active systems.
13. OpenAI Processing
Groxx uses OpenAI API services for certain AI-powered features, including:
- tailoring and expanding recommendations;
- Play;
- card-level AI chat;
- AI Crew;
- processing certain prompts and uploaded content.
Groxx stores the account’s application history in its own systems, including Supabase, where applicable.
Deleting your Groxx account causes Groxx to delete or de-identify Groxx-controlled copies of applicable prompts, conversations, generated content, and uploaded material in accordance with this page.
Under the current OpenAI configuration, certain API information may be retained temporarily by OpenAI for service operation, security, or abuse-monitoring purposes, depending on the endpoint and feature used.
Groxx has disabled voluntary API-data sharing for model improvement and has disabled API call logging in its OpenAI organization settings.
A Groxx deletion request does not necessarily allow Groxx to individually locate and delete content from temporary provider security logs where that content is not maintained as a Groxx-controlled user record.
Such temporary provider-side data is handled according to the applicable OpenAI data-retention controls and is not retained by Groxx as an active user account record.
If Zero Data Retention is later confirmed and activated for relevant Groxx processing, this section may be updated.
14. Google Analytics
Deleting your Groxx account does not automatically erase every website or application analytics event if the event:
- was not directly linked to your Groxx account;
- is stored under an analytics or application-instance identifier;
- has already been aggregated;
- can no longer reasonably be associated with you.
Where analytics information can reasonably be identified and is subject to a valid deletion right, Groxx will take reasonable steps to process the request using available Google Analytics deletion controls.
Aggregated or de-identified analytics information that no longer reasonably identifies you may be retained.
You may also prevent future optional website analytics by withdrawing consent through the Groxx cookie preference controls.
15. Apple Transaction and Subscription Records
Groxx may retain limited information received from Apple concerning an App Store transaction, such as:
- transaction identifiers;
- product identifier;
- subscription entitlement;
- purchase date;
- expiration date;
- cancellation, refund, or revocation status;
- storefront information.
Certain transaction records may need to be retained where reasonably necessary for:
- accounting;
- tax;
- fraud prevention;
- dispute resolution;
- proof of entitlement;
- compliance with law.
Groxx does not receive or store your complete payment-card information.
Apple independently retains and processes purchase information under Apple’s own legal obligations, terms, and privacy practices.
Deleting your Groxx account does not require Apple to delete your Apple Account or Apple transaction history.
16. Information We May Retain
Deletion rights are not absolute.
Groxx may retain limited information where retention is reasonably necessary or legally permitted for purposes such as:
- complying with tax, accounting, corporate, or legal obligations;
- documenting transactions;
- preventing fraud or abuse;
- investigating security incidents;
- maintaining system integrity;
- enforcing agreements;
- resolving disputes;
- establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims;
- demonstrating compliance with user requests or consent obligations;
- maintaining an unsubscribe or suppression record;
- complying with a lawful governmental, judicial, or regulatory request.
Information retained under an exception will be limited to what is reasonably necessary for the applicable purpose.
It will not be used to continue providing ordinary account functionality, personalized recommendations, AI conversations, or marketing to the deleted account.
17. Records of the Deletion Request
Groxx may retain a limited record showing that:
- a deletion request was received;
- identity verification was completed;
- the request was processed;
- the account was deleted;
- relevant systems were instructed to remove or de-identify data.
This record may include limited information such as:
- a request identifier;
- account or email hash;
- request date;
- completion date;
- legal basis or exception applied;
- operational audit information.
We may retain this limited record to demonstrate compliance, prevent accidental account restoration, respond to disputes, and protect user privacy.
18. Marketing and Unsubscribe Records
If you previously unsubscribed from marketing communications, Groxx may retain a limited suppression record after account deletion.
This record may consist of your email address or a cryptographic representation of it and may be used only to ensure that you are not unintentionally resubscribed to marketing.
Retaining a suppression record does not mean that your Groxx account remains active.
Essential legal communications concerning the deletion request may still be sent while the request is being processed.
19. Aggregated and De-Identified Information
Groxx may retain information that has been aggregated or de-identified so that it no longer reasonably identifies you.
This may include statistical information concerning:
- feature usage;
- general product performance;
- technical reliability;
- broad business categories;
- error rates;
- service capacity.
Groxx will not attempt to re-identify information retained as de-identified, except where necessary to test whether the de-identification process remains effective or where otherwise permitted by law.
20. Information Controlled by Third Parties
Deleting your Groxx account does not automatically delete information independently controlled by third parties, including:
- Apple;
- Google;
- your email provider;
- websites or services you accessed outside Groxx;
- third parties to whom you independently sent Groxx-generated content.
You may need to contact those third parties directly or use their privacy controls.
Where a third party acts solely as a processor or service provider for Groxx, we will take reasonable steps to instruct it to delete or de-identify applicable information as required.
21. Information You Exported or Shared
Groxx cannot delete copies of information that you previously:
- downloaded;
- exported;
- copied;
- published;
- sent to another person;
- saved outside Groxx;
- included in another service.
You are responsible for managing copies under your own control.
Recipients and independent third-party services may retain information under their own policies and legal obligations.
22. Pending Disputes, Security Incidents, or Legal Holds
In limited circumstances, deletion may be delayed or partially restricted where relevant information is subject to:
- an active legal dispute;
- a security investigation;
- suspected fraud or misuse;
- a lawful preservation obligation;
- a legal hold;
- a valid governmental or judicial request.
Where appropriate and legally permitted, Groxx will inform you if a material part of the deletion request cannot be completed and explain the applicable reason.
Once the relevant retention requirement ends, the information will be deleted or de-identified unless another lawful basis for retention applies.
23. Deleting Only Certain Information
Account deletion removes the account as a whole.
For technical and product-integrity reasons, Groxx may not always support deletion of an individual recommendation, isolated Boss Mode answer, or single chat while preserving every related account function.
However, depending on applicable law, you may request:
- access;
- correction;
- deletion of particular personal information;
- restriction of processing;
- objection to certain processing;
- portability.
To submit a privacy request that does not involve deleting the entire account, contact:
[email protected]We will assess the request under applicable law and the technical context.
24. Withdrawing AI Processing Permission
Where Groxx requests permission before sending relevant content to a third-party AI provider, you may be able to decline or withdraw that permission.
Withdrawing permission may prevent future use of features such as:
- Boss Mode;
- This Week;
- Red Flag;
- Play;
- card-level AI chat;
- AI Crew;
- AI-powered file processing.
Withdrawing permission does not automatically delete your Groxx account.
It also does not affect AI processing lawfully completed before the permission was withdrawn.
To delete existing account content, use the account-deletion process or submit an applicable privacy request.
25. Recreating an Account
After deletion, you may be able to create a new Groxx account using the same email address, Apple Account, or Google Account.
A newly created account will ordinarily be treated as a new account.
Previously deleted:
- Boss Mode answers;
- business profile;
- priority mode;
- This Week recommendations;
- Red Flag information;
- AI conversations;
- uploaded content
will not ordinarily be restored.
Groxx may prevent or restrict recreation where reasonably necessary to address fraud, abuse, security risks, legal restrictions, or prior material violations of the Terms of Service.
26. Rights of Users in the EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland
Users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland may have a legal right to request erasure of personal data in certain circumstances.
The right may apply, for example, where:
- the data is no longer necessary for the original purpose;
- consent is withdrawn and no other legal basis applies;
- a valid objection is made;
- the information was unlawfully processed;
- erasure is required by law.
The right to erasure may be limited where processing is necessary for purposes such as:
- compliance with a legal obligation;
- establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims;
- exercise of freedom of expression and information;
- certain public-interest purposes;
- another exception recognized by applicable law.
Article 17 GDPR establishes the right to erasure and its principal exceptions.
You may also have the right to complain to a competent data-protection authority.
27. California and Other U.S. State Rights
Depending on applicable law, residents of California and certain other U.S. states may have the right to request deletion of personal information collected from or about them.
Such rights may be subject to exceptions, including where information is reasonably necessary to:
- complete a transaction;
- provide a requested service;
- detect or prevent security incidents;
- prevent fraud;
- exercise legal rights;
- comply with law;
- perform another legally permitted internal use.
Groxx will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
California law includes rights to request deletion and other forms of control over personal information for consumers covered by the law.
28. Identity Verification
We may verify your identity before acting on a deletion request to protect your account from unauthorized deletion.
Verification may involve:
- confirming access to the registered email address;
- reauthentication through Apple or Google;
- entering a one-time code;
- confirming an active Groxx session;
- providing limited account-related information.
We will not request more verification information than reasonably necessary.
Information collected solely for verification will be used to process and protect the request and may be retained only where reasonably necessary to demonstrate compliance or prevent fraud.
29. Authorized Agents
Where applicable law permits, an authorized agent may submit a deletion request on your behalf.
We may require:
- written evidence that the agent is authorized;
- verification of the agent’s identity;
- direct confirmation from you;
- other information reasonably necessary to prevent fraud.
We may decline an agent request where authority cannot be adequately verified.
30. Confirmation of Deletion
After the deletion request has been processed, Groxx may send a confirmation to the email address associated with the account.
The confirmation may state:
- that account deletion has been completed;
- that certain limited records may remain under applicable exceptions;
- that the Apple subscription must be managed separately;
- how to contact Groxx with questions.
For security and privacy reasons, Groxx may not provide a detailed list of internal database records or security systems involved in the deletion.
31. If We Cannot Complete a Request
If Groxx denies or limits a deletion request, we may explain:
- the category of information affected;
- the reason the information cannot currently be deleted;
- the legal or operational basis for the decision;
- any available appeal or complaint process.
We may be unable to disclose information that would compromise:
- security;
- fraud prevention;
- another person’s privacy;
- confidential legal advice;
- a lawful investigation.
Where applicable law provides a right to appeal a privacy decision, instructions will be included in the response.
32. Changes to This Data Deletion Page
We may update this page to reflect:
- changes to the Groxx application;
- changes to account-deletion controls;
- changes to service providers;
- changes to data-retention practices;
- changes to Apple, Google, Supabase, or OpenAI integrations;
- legal or regulatory developments;
- security or operational needs.
We will post the updated version at
groxx.app/data-deletion and revise the “Last Updated” date.
Where required by law, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
